See it in action

A calmer way to handle a difficult conversation

CalmResolve is designed for situations where people are willing to talk, but direct conversation keeps becoming tense, defensive, circular or unproductive. The mediator gives each person space to explain themselves privately, then helps turn that into neutral, useful progress.

How each participant speaks privately to the mediator rather than being put straight into a live argument.
How raw messages are handled carefully, with neutral summaries and constructive questions instead of emotional relaying.
How the session can move towards boundaries, practical options, trial arrangements or agreed next steps.

What the mediator actually does

It does more than pass messages back and forth

The aim is not to decide who is right. The aim is to lower the temperature, help both people feel heard, and make the conversation practical enough to continue.

👂

Helps each person explain what really matters

Difficult conversations often begin with frustration, blame or a long history of smaller issues. The mediator helps turn that into clearer concerns, needs and priorities that can be worked with.

💡

Finds common ground without bias

It looks for areas of overlap, shared aims and possible misunderstandings. It does not take sides, apply pressure or try to force agreement where agreement is not realistic.

🧭

Keeps the conversation moving forward

When discussion becomes stuck or repetitive, the mediator asks grounded questions and brings the focus back to choices, timelines, boundaries and next steps.

📝

Supports practical progress

CalmResolve can help people explore workable options, temporary arrangements, communication ground rules or a simple written agreement that reflects what has been discussed.

Private channels

You can be honest without every raw word being shown

In many difficult conversations, people need space to say what they are feeling before it is useful to share anything with the other person. CalmResolve gives each participant a private channel with the mediator. The other participant does not see your raw messages.

The mediator decides what can be safely and constructively summarised. That means the important point can still be brought into the conversation, but in calmer language that is less likely to inflame the situation.

Why this matters

It reduces the risk of one angry sentence derailing the whole session.
It helps people express what they mean, not just what they say in the heat of the moment.
It encourages practical movement rather than point-scoring or repeated escalation.
It keeps the process structured while still allowing each person to speak freely.

How CalmResolve works

A simple, structured session from invitation to next steps

A CalmResolve session is designed to be easy to start. There is no account to create, and participants join using their session code.

1

Book a private session

One person books the session and invites the other participant. Sessions are currently priced at £44.99 per person for 60 minutes, including VAT.

2

Join with a code

Each participant uses their unique code to join. CalmResolve is built to keep access simple while still protecting the privacy of the session.

3

Speak privately to the mediator

You explain your view to the mediator in your own words. The mediator helps clarify the issue before anything constructive is shared with the other person.

4

Receive neutral summaries

The mediator shares carefully worded summaries, questions and reflections that help both people understand the real sticking points without escalating the tone.

5

Explore realistic options

The conversation moves towards what could work in practice: boundaries, schedules, temporary arrangements, communication rules or a next conversation.

6

Agree next steps where possible

Where the conversation reaches common ground, CalmResolve can help capture the outcome in plain language so both people know what has been discussed.

When things get tense or stuck

The mediator keeps the session grounded

CalmResolve is most useful when people are not looking for a fight, but the conversation keeps becoming harder than it needs to be.

It slows the pace

People often react quickly when they feel criticised or misunderstood. The mediator creates a pause between what is said privately and what is shared constructively.

It asks practical questions

Instead of staying at the level of blame, the mediator asks about dates, responsibilities, boundaries, expectations and what “good enough for now” could look like.

It offers alternatives

If one answer is not possible, CalmResolve can help explore other options so the conversation does not simply return to the same disagreement.

Who CalmResolve is for

For difficult but safe conversations where structure could help

CalmResolve is not a court, counselling service or emergency service. It is a structured online mediation tool for people who want a calmer way to talk through a practical issue.

🏡

Family conversations

For relatives trying to discuss responsibilities, boundaries, care arrangements, money worries or repeated misunderstandings more calmly.

👨‍👩‍👧

Co-parenting arrangements

For practical conversations about schedules, handovers, communication expectations, holidays, costs or trial arrangements.

🌿

Neighbour issues

For recurring problems around noise, parking, shared spaces, boundaries or day-to-day friction where a calmer conversation may help.

💼

Small workplace tensions

For selected workplace or small-business disagreements where both people are willing to have a structured conversation outside the heat of the moment.

Privacy and safety

Built for private, consent-based mediation

CalmResolve is built on the idea that people should be able to speak freely without being watched, sold to or tracked around the internet. We only use strictly necessary cookies, we do not use advertising cookies, and we do not send marketing emails.

Your conversation stays between you and the AI mediator. Other participants and the organiser do not see your raw private messages; they only see what the mediator chooses to summarise and share as part of the mediation process.

Quick answers

Common questions before you book

Does the other person see what I type privately?

No. Each participant speaks privately to the mediator. The other person does not see your raw private messages. The mediator may share a neutral summary or constructive point where that helps the mediation move forward.

Is this the same as counselling or legal mediation?

No. CalmResolve is a neutral AI-mediated conversation tool. It can help structure difficult conversations and explore practical next steps, but it does not provide legal advice, counselling, therapy or crisis support.

What happens if the other person does not join?

CalmResolve is designed around both people having the chance to take part. If the other invited participant does not join and the session cannot proceed, the booking flow explains the refund position before payment.

Can we use it for co-parenting or family arrangements?

Yes, where the conversation is safe and both people are willing to engage. CalmResolve can help with practical matters such as schedules, boundaries, communication expectations and trial arrangements.

Do I need to create an account?

No. Participants join using a session code. This keeps the process straightforward and avoids adding another account to manage at a time when the conversation may already feel stressful.

How long are transcripts kept?

Mediation transcripts are kept for a short period, currently up to 72 hours, so a session can be reopened or downloaded. After that, they are removed from active systems in line with the service privacy approach.
