Your raw messages stay private
The mediator reads what you say so it can understand your concern, but it does not simply forward your words to the other participant.
Private online mediation
CalmResolve® is built around private channels. Each person speaks to the mediator separately. The other person does not see your raw messages, and the mediator only brings points into the shared mediation when they can be framed constructively.
The mediator reads what you say so it can understand your concern, but it does not simply forward your words to the other participant.
Where a point needs to be shared, the mediator aims to summarise the underlying need or concern without adding fuel to the conflict.
Transcripts are available for a short period after the session so they can be reopened or downloaded, then removed from active systems.
The service is designed to avoid intrusive tracking. CalmResolve does not need advertising cookies to run a mediation session.
In difficult conversations, people often need space to say what they mean before it is useful to share anything with the other person. Private channels create a pause. That pause helps the mediator separate the useful point from the heat around it.
Example: instead of relaying an angry accusation word-for-word, the mediator may summarise the underlying concern as a need for clearer boundaries, more notice, or a practical change in routine.
CalmResolve is for difficult but safe conversations. It is not designed to hide harm, threats, coercion or safeguarding concerns. If there is immediate risk or fear of harm, use appropriate external support rather than CalmResolve.
